Brinkmann cited the Grayson Cellars Zinfandel, Calistoga Cellars Zinfandel, Robert Reynolds Old Vine Zinfandel and Branham Rockpile Zinfandel as his favorite zinfandel wines for this barbecue season.

Grown in the Rockpile appellation of Sonoma county, 800 feet above sea level, Branham Zinfandel showcases the area’s ripe, luscious, smoky black fruit. It’s aged in French oak for 16 months, giving hints of vanilla with silky tannins.
