Gail Appleson of the STLtoday.com recently featured the 2009 Alexander Valley Vineyards Sin Zin as one of the best wines to toast the Fourth of July.

Appleson has this to say about this red zinfandel wine:

The Sin Zin, which has a bacchanalian-looking label taken from a 17th-century German etching titled “Horn of Plenty,” is a lush, jammy wine. This wine has a refreshing acidity and silky mouthfeel.
