The Washington Post recently featured its recommended Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley. The 2009 Dashe Zinfandel, 2008 Dry Creek Vineyards Old Vine Zinfandel, 2009 Quivira Zinfandel, 2008 Alexander Valley Vineyards Redemption Zinfandel and 2008 Ulises Valdez Botticelli Vineyard Zinfandel made it to the recommended Zinfandel list.

Washington Post has this to say about the 2008 Ulises Valdez Botticelli Vineyard Zinfandel:

This zin shows Rockpile characteristics of intense fruit that manages to balance the high alcohol (15.2 percent), with a focus and complexity on the finish that refuses to quit.
