Sandra Silfven, a longtime Detroit News wine columnist, recently reviewed the 2010 Artezin Mendocino County Zinfandel.

Silfven has this to say about this wine:

The latest release marches out spicy, in-your-face fruit, braced with flavors of boysenberries, raspberries and black pepper with touches of clove and nutmeg. The yummy creaminess on the midpalate calls for a food pairing like thick lamb chops, sirloin steak with a little fat, or better yet, a pizza with the works.
